Our focus is on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the cannabis industry by bringing awareness to cannabis consumers statewide and providing financial support to diverse stakeholders, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other underrepresented communities. Through our annual product drops and partnerships with nonprofit organizations and communities, we celebrate diversity and work to advance social change!
The People's Ecosystem is a catalyst for community empowerment. Our mission is to help transform communities historically harmed by the criminalization of cannabis through challenging stereotypes and highlighting the tremendous health benefits achieved in past and current cannabis studies. The People's Ecosystem believes a brighter future exists and cannabis will facilitate the change we are pushing for.
Favianna Rodriguez Giannoni, an interdisciplinary artist, cultural strategist, and entrepreneur based in Oakland, California, is a recognized climate justice leader and president of The Center for Cultural Power, an organization that supports BIPOC artists in the U.S, and has received numerous awards for her work around racial justice and climate change.
One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families. We effectively advocate for LGBTQ Coloradans and their families by lobbying the General Assembly, the executive branch, and local governments on issues like safe schools, transgender equality, relationship recognition, and LGBTQ health and human services.
We recognize the need to address institutionalized racism in the cannabis industry, particularly in the black and brown communities that have been disproportionately affected by cannabis-related arrests and prosecutions. Despite comparable usage rates, these communities have faced up to ten times more arrests in some states. To address this issue, we partnered with BCEI, an organization created in 2019 to promote fairness and opportunity in the cannabis landscape. We fully support their mission and encourage others to check them out.
